A close examination of the nose of ZA398 shows the battle honours of II(AC) Sqn, as well as the badge and usual forward fuselage markings. The first three squadrons of the then Royal Flying Corps, 1(F), II(AC) and 3(F) were all formed on the 13th May, 1912, and all celebrate 100 years in 2012.
