Departing for the night flying not long after landing from the afternoons flights, the C-12D gives a better view of the variosu sensor 'bumps' on the underside. It is believed that a handful of these aircraft are designated 'Horned Owl' and are used against IED teams in Iraq. The sensors are believed are to be capable of penetrating into earth while looking for IEDs.
