The first time I've photographed a Shadow, with 'Widget 01' arriving at RAF Coningsby from nearby Waddington. The modifications for the ISTAR role can clearly be seen. Inline with typical modern MoD policy, the type will be withdrawn as soon as UK involvment is finished in Afghanistan, despite the final aircraft still not having been delivered as of June 2011. What a farce...
