The PIRATE (Passive InfraRed Airborne Track Equipment) sensor blister on the forward left hand fuselage of a early F2 since upgraded to FGR4 standard. The sensor fit is not standard with Austrian and Luftwaffe aircraft, and recent Tranche 2 deliveries to the RAF have not been fitted either, although Tranche 1 jets in for upgrade are still being fitted.
