Three Typhoon's at Coningsby, one aircraft each from 3(F), 29(R) and 17(R) Squadrons have been marked with the aircraft code and aircrew name from a pilot who flew with that unit during the summer of 1940. Typhoon FGR4 ZJ941 from 3(F) Squadron is marked for the Hurricane flown by Pilot Officer Lonsdale who was killed in November 1940
