This particular airframe has a interesting history. It was photographed in the Wattisham hangar the same day it was trucked back upto Wattisham from RAF Brize Norton after returning from Operation Herrick in Afghanistan. It graphically shows the beating that they take while deployed. ZJ224 is also the aircraft flown by 'Ed Macy' on the Jugroom Fort mission in January 2007.
