'Rescue 125' returning to Wattisham on a summers evening after a live rescue. The RAF (and RN) Search & Rescue force have only a couple of years left until they are axed, and the responsibility is moved over to a commercial operator, who will be operating with about 60% of the current number of aircraft dedicated to the role. The Boscastle flooding rescue in 2004 involved upto 7 SAR Sea Kings from both services, this level of operation will simply not be possible in the future.
