Not quite as striking as the one of a kind Hercules C-130 W2 it replaced but a welcome fixed wing visitor to Wattisham anyway. Flown under contract for the Met office or Facility for Airborne Atmospheric Measurements (FAAM) as it says on the rear fuselage and based at Cranfield airfield, G-LUXE is actually a former BAe 146-300 prototype.
