Wattisham still maintains a fully serviceable runway from it's fast jet days. Fixed wing visitors are quite common, with RAF C-130's probably being the most frequent. Here "Ascot 640" climbs off runway 05 in the early evening after operating from here all day conducting parachute training. A civvie airliner (probably outbound from Stansted) can be seen underneath in the distance.
