Due to go on display at the Bentwaters Cold War Museum, this Phantom FGR2 was formerly a squadron gate guard with 23 Squadron at RAF Waddington, but with the demise of that unit the aircraft became surplus to requirements. The museum intends to repaint it in 74 Sqn colours, to honour the last RAF F-4 Squadron which was based at nearby RAF Wattisham.
