Late on a friday afternoon in November 2006 and a 6 Sqn Jaguar T4 lands at Coningsby on runway 25. At that time 6 Sqn was due to operate until late 2007, so the last RAF Jaguars would still be about when I made my 2007 visits, and was unaware at the time that this would be my last flying Jaguar when the unit was suddenly axed in the early part of the year at barely a few days notice - politics!
